We Started a Blog!
Welcome to Stall & Kessler’s very first blog post! We are so thankful you’re here, and we’re eager to share what you can expect from this page. Our desire is that you would come along for the ride as we share things such as diamond and gemstone educational material, in-store happenings, the purpose of our unique team travels, “how to” content, special events, and general introductions of our staff. Additionally, we’d love to know what YOU want to hear more about! There are many ways to connect with us. You can reach out via call/text to (765) 742-1259, send us a message on Instagram or Facebook, chat online through our instant chat portal, or email any one of us. Visit our webpage here where you can send us a message virtually.
Formalities aside, we thought a Stall & Kessler’s trip down memory lane and general history were befitting for our first post. Without further ado, here is a brief history of how Stall & Kessler’s came to be. In 1953, John M Stall II started a small repair shop on the north side of the courthouse square with an emphasis on quality and service. In 1979, John Stall III and Jeff Kessler purchased the J.M. Stall Company and started Stall and Kessler’s Diamond Center. John & Jeff then moved into the current location at 333 Columbia St. on the south side of the courthouse square in downtown Lafayette. We like to remind direction-seeking callers that we’re right across the road from the giant cannon.
It’s been several years since John III’s retirement, and Jeff & Kristopher Kessler now operate as co-owners. As the years have passed, Stall and Kessler’s focus and vision have maintained commitment to our customers, staff, & community. The primary of those is commitment to our customers. We aim to offer a one-of-a-kind experience to each person who chooses to walk through the door during the most important times in their lives: engagements, anniversaries and other special occasions. It’s our joy to continue those relationships with each passing year. We plan to share more of the ways we’re committed to our community and staff alike in future posts.
Lastly, whether you’re a long-time customer of Stall & Kessler’s, a frequent follower, or brand new to us or the wonderful world of jewelry, we hope this space will be a place where you feel at home. You’ll often see that we are learning new things just as you are! We want you to feel empowered to wear your jewelry well and to treasure the sentiment that accompanies truly unique designs. With that, we wish you all a wonderful weekend.
